Legal guarantee of conformity

New products sold to consumers benefit from the French legal guarantee of conformity. This statutory warranty allows repair or replacement of non-conforming goods under the conditions provided by law.

Duration

The legal guarantee of conformity applies for 2 years from delivery of the new product to the consumer.

Hidden defects warranty

The customer also benefits from the statutory warranty against hidden defects under the conditions provided by the French Civil Code.

Commercial or manufacturer warranty

A commercial or manufacturer warranty may be offered in addition to the statutory warranties when provided by the manufacturer or seller. When it exists, it never replaces the statutory warranties and applies under its own conditions.

Exclusions

The warranty does not notably cover normal wear and tear, breakage, accidental damage, oxidation, misuse, unauthorised intervention, or deterioration resulting from improper handling, without prejudice to the customer's statutory rights.

Procedure

For any request concerning a new product, the customer should contact MacBook Store and mention the order reference, the product concerned, and the nature of the issue. Supporting documents or checks may be requested before the appropriate next step is proposed.

Refurbished products

Refurbished products are not covered by this dedicated page. Their specific coverage level is indicated on the product page or in the sales documents provided for the transaction.
